I think email as an effective marketing medium is dead.
UNLESS the users WANT the info.
with viruses, etc.. UCE is just spam and a waste of bandwidth.
If i don’t know you i delete your email. PERIOD.

Is just an improved version of Opt-in, if i follow you i want the message. I may not know you that well, but if i follow you, like your content i have opted in for your marketing message.
